  • Currently working as a staff reporter/anchor for KOMU-TV8, the only university-owned commercial television station in the United States using its newsroom as a working lab for students.
  • Trained to work as my own cameraman, writer and editor, developing a strong knowledge base in Avid and iNews.
          Intern - NBC Universal Burbank, California

  • Worked for NBC's Publicity Office, utilizing electronic and print outlets to generate publicity for network and cable.
  • Assisted in the organization of NBC Press Tour, responsible for introducing new series/mini-series to the press.
  • Shadowed KNBC reporters, editors and producers.
  • First runner-up to NBC's Coast2Coast intern selection: NBC narrows all interns down to 10 finalists that pass through an intense interview and presentation process. The winner works for NBC in New York for a week.
  • NBC Pilot Program finalist: NBC chooses four groups of 20 interns to compete in presenting a new television series to NBC executives.
